One of the better op shops in the area, but sometimes can still be over priced. There is a good range of clothing in particular. Staff I have encountered are really nice, although sometimes when dropping off donations there is no one there to give the discount voucher
The world is a very expensive place and it's good to have stores like savers. It's second hand stuff, but you might pay 20 dollars for a book in an actual book store, which I believe is ridiculous but in savers just a few dollars. The only real criticism I have is i wish thier were more of these stores around, but hopefully the ones we have can keep going, you find treasures you would not find anywhere else.
Found some cool items like this Perri Cutten coat (Australian Luxury designer brand) for $20 and this cute Converse $10 that reminds me of Stuart Little!
It is also that they have this self checkout! Always have an enjoyable shopping experience.
I love this park, and I'm a frequent visitor. I love walking long distances, enjoying the views, the peaceful nature, it is such a pleasure watching the variety of birds flying around and gratefully swimming in the birdhide waters, once I even have encountered a fox nearby, as well I love seein the signature of all - the native rabbits .
honestly sometimes the staff are low key rude. they closed the change rooms an hour before the store and when i asked why they ignored me at first but then said it was because they were understaffed. i liked the self checkouts and the shop had a great range of items though so i will be back.
Savers Narre Warren, a bleak sanctuary for thrift store wanderers, was the backdrop of my recent soul-crushing expedition. Among the rows of forgotten garments, my weary eyes fell upon a fur coat of undeniable splendor. Its opulent allure contrasted sharply with my tattered self-esteem.
In the unforgiving glare of the store's harsh lighting, I hesitantly draped myself in this garment of opulence. The coat whispered tales of affluence and grandeur, but the reflection before me triggered a flood of self-loathing. My low self-esteem, a relentless companion, taunted me mercilessly.
Savers Narre Warren was a pit of judgment, and I felt scrutinized by the unkind eyes of indifferent shoppers. The coat, though a majestic relic of another era, felt like an unforgiving spotlight on my inadequacies.
The store's desolate ambiance offered no solace for my fractured confidence. Instead, it accentuated the crushing weight of my insecurities. In that pit of despair, I realized that no vintage treasure could mend the broken pieces of my self-worth.
In the end, my visit to Savers Narre Warren was a melancholic reminder that even amidst the allure of luxury, my low self-esteem remained an indomitable specter.
Overpriced, low quality, self checkout. Just a terrible shop now. Save yourself the trip and go to your local op shop, the prices will be better, the staff friendly, and the quality has to be better than the chipped and threadbare items on offer at Savers.
Please note this is not an op shop. I keep hearing people say it is. They’re a business, that accepts donations, on-sells them, then donates 10% of their ‘profits’ not their income, to diabetes Australia. In business, this donation to a not for profit organisation is a tax break. Most businesses do this.
Genius business marketing idea for Savers really. But your prices can not always be justified in this case seeing not all proceeds are going to charity and you don’t have the overheads of stock purchases.
Low stars have been given due to:
*unwashed clothing being sold without being checked for defects and priced accordingly
*offering exchange of products only
*staff often being rude to customers and complaining about being at work. (People who volunteer at op shops are much friendlier)
*they close their change rooms three hours before closing. They’re predominantly a clothing store?!?! When asked why, they stated that they had a lady who left a trolley of clothes one night and they didn’t want to have to put it away before going home!
If only their staff didn’t act like they’re volunteers… if I could give zero stars for this shop, I would.
